Haydar was last seen in Turkey Street, Enfield on 4 September 2007. He was 37 at the time of his disappearance. Circumstances around his disappearance are vague. He worked at the Superclass Convenience Store in Hornsey. He worked there for two years and one of the last times he was sighted was when he was on a night shift in the shop. Co-workers became concerned after he failed to turn up for his shift after a day off. Attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. On the day of his disappearance, Koyuncu’s niece said she saw him leaving his flat at 3:30am with two men. Those who knew Koyuncu say he was never absent from work and was in regular contact with his family. 13 years after his disappearance, the Metropolitan Police made a further appeal regarding Koyuncu’s case but he remains missing.
