Ian Bushell, from Thamesmead, was last seen by his father on January 20, 1988 when he was 21. Wilton visited his son’s flat weeks later he found all of Ian’s belongings including clothes, wallet, and keys, but Ian was nowhere to be found. In 2020, his sister, Rosalind Bushell, made a desperate plea for help in finding her brother. According to a report by the Evening Standard, in a statement Rosalind said, “I was only 16 when my big brother went missing and I have thought of him every day for the last 32 years. My dad passed away two years later in 1989 and my mother in 2010, so now it is just me.” Since the initial investigation, Police have received two unconfirmed sightings of Ian in north east London, the most recent being in 2007, but they did not lead to officers finding him.
