Age: 21 at disappearance, would be 43
Location: Hammersmith, London
Iwona moved to London on 9 July 2000. She worked at a Polish-owned business on King Street, Hammersmith, and lived with a friend near the Arndale Centre, Wandsworth. She was last seen on CCTV the morning of 13th July as she was leaving for work, where she stayed until 5pm. She was due to meet her friend in Wandsworth at 7pm. Her route home is thought to have taken her to Hammersmith bus station, where she would take the 220 bus to the Arndale Centre. She was last seen wearing dark-coloured trousers, black shoes and a dark green knee-length jacket. She was carrying a small leather handbag containing only £20 in cash. She was described as white, 5ft 2in tall, slim and with light brown, shoulder-length hair. Iwona’s family in Modliborzyce, Poland, including father Jan Kaminska and “adored” brother and sister, have endured 22 years of “utter heartache” since her disappearance. Detectives believe that Iwona was kidnapped and killed, fearing the “worst”.
