Nigel Griffiths has been missing since 2 December 2009. He was 42 years old at the time of his disappearance. Griffiths was born and raised in Uxbridge and worked as a courier driver at the time of his disappearance. Griffith’s van was discovered in a car park in Cowley, Oxfordshire, but no clues about his case were found. Family members told the media he had “suffered a series of financial misfortunes” before going missing. He was homeless and living on friends sofa’s in the months before he went missing. His family also said they don’t believe anyone else was involved in his disappearance, saying he “often threatened to do something stupid.” They also note his bank account hadn’t been touched in the months following his disappearance.
